Media Advisory – Toyota Canada will have debut #4 Toyota Tundra race truck on display at the 2015 Calgary International Auto and Truck Show 9 (March 11-15) and for the first time in Canada. The Toyota Tundra won last year’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) title. Also appearing at the booth will be Jamie Davis of the hit television series “Highway Thru Hell,” which prominently features the capabilities of the Tundra pickup truck in some of the world’s most challenging terrain. The Tundra that Davis drives will be on display just outside the Saddledome.

The Toyota Tundra will be a featured attraction at this year’s Calgary International Auto and Truck Show. The star of the show is the Tundra race truck on display making its Canadian debut. It is part of a Toyota team that has built a dynasty in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) manufacturer’s championship, with seven titles in the last 11 years. Tundra on won the first 10 races last season. There will also be special appearances at the booth by Jamie Davis, star of Discovery television’s hit series “Highway Thru Hell.” Davis’ show chronicles the heavy rescue work his crew undertakes in patrolling some of the world’s most dangerous and difficult stretches of road. That includes the highways of the Coquihalla and Fraser Canyon in British Columbia, as well as Highways 63 and 881 that lead to Fort McMurray. With his team relying on four Tundra vehicles to meet the challenges of their job, Davis is the ideal person to attest to the capability of the Tundra under the most adverse weather and terrain conditions. The Tundra that Davis drives will be on display for the duration of the show. It will be located just outside the Saddledome. |
