Stuart McCafferty and Gabrielle Puccio strengthen new team led by Sharon Allan

WAKEFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS, UNITED STATES, January 13, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP) President and CEO Sharon Allan announced today that Stuart McCafferty and Gabrielle Puccio have joined SGIP in key staff positions to support the Grid Modernization organization.— Sharon Allan, SGIP President & CEO
McCafferty is the new Vice President of Operations and Program Manager for SGIP technical projects, committees and working groups. Working directly with Allan and the Board of Director’s Technical Committee Chair John Caskey, McCafferty will oversee and direct the technical execution.
McCafferty brings 30 years of experience in business strategy and leadership, program and project management, community disaster resilience, Grid Modernization technologies, system/enterprise architecture design, and standards development. He holds a BS degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and is a certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute (PMI). McCafferty, an innovative business strategist, was awarded the PMI’s Distinguished Project Award in 2013 for the National Institute of Standards and Technology initial phase of SGIP.
Gabrielle Puccio joins SGIP as the Vice President of Public Relations directly reporting to Allan. Her primary responsibility is the facilitation and caretaking of the SGIP membership. She is also responsible for communications, events, branding, and media and public relations.
Puccio has over 20 years of experience in Corporate Communications, brand strategy, public relations, and customer relationship management in the utility, energy, and sustainability markets. She holds a BA in English from Montclair State University, attended the Duke Fuqua School of Business seminar, “Leadership in ABB,” and is an alumna of Leadership Raleigh.
