10 a.m. ET In 2014, the National Science Foundation demonstrated its support for the wind energy industry by supporting the establishment of an Industry/University Cooperative Research Center for Wind Energy Science, Technology, and Research (WindSTAR). The Maine Ocean and Wind Industry Initiative (MOWII) will host this webinar, which will review the various R&D projects addressed by WindSTAR and the benefits these projects may bring to advancing wind energy technology and reducing costs. The webinar is free but registration is required.
