Michael Palin answers questions from The Book People customers

/EINPresswire.com/ UK - Michael Palin has wished customers of online bookstore, The Book People a Merry Christmas, as well as answering some of their questions and talking about his travels.

The TV star, who is famous for being a member of the Monty Python group and for his many travel documentaries, sat down to talk to The Book People and face some burning queries from his fans.

When asked what he talks about with the other members of Monty Python, he revealed that although they cannot get together very often because they live in different countries, they do love a good "grumble, just like old guys do". Palin also revealed that they still always manage to make each other laugh when they get together.

Another Twitter follower asked what his favourite destination has been over the years. Palin replied saying that was a difficult question because there is nowhere he has been to that he didn't enjoy. However, he said Peru was a stand-out destination for him due to its amazing Inca architecture and the stunning scenery on Inca trails.

"Peru's hard to beat if you want an adventurous time," he added.

Finally, wishing The Book People's customers a Merry Christmas, Palin stated: "I hope you get lots of good things to read, lots of lovely books... possibly Brazil by Michael Palin?"

Lindsay Eyers, Social Media Manager, said: "We asked our Twitter followers to put their questions forward to Michael Palin and they were thrilled with the responses he gave. We currently have his brand new book Brazil in stock, which coincides with his latest TV series. This is the perfect gift for friends and family this Christmas."
