Campbell's Soup Company Completes 9.8-MW Solar System
Campbell's Soup Company (Campbell's) has completed a 9.8 megawatt (MW) photovoltaic system at a Campbell's manufacturing facility in Napoleon, Ohio. The solar system will generate the equivalent of 15 percent of the facility's annual electricity demand.
BNB Renewable Energy Holdings developed the project in partnership with Campbell's, which will purchase 100 percent of the array's generated power. FirstEnergy Solutions has contracted to purchase all of the solar renewable energy certificates generated by the project.
