American Lung Association Welcomes Kelly Hamilton to National Board of Directors

The American Lung Association is proud to welcome Kelly Hamilton as a member of its National Board of Directors. Ms. Hamilton is the Chief Financial and Chief Administrative Officer of The Ohio State University Health Plan. She also served as Interim CEO from 2011 to 2012.
“Kelly Hamilton’s professional background and executive experience will enhance the American Lung Association’s delivery of its lifesaving mission. Her insights will prove invaluable to the American Lung Association and its commitment to lung health,” said Ross P. Lanzafame, Chair of the Board of the American Lung Association.
Ms. Hamilton began her career at the public accounting firm KPMG, LLP in Washington, D.C. During her nine-year tenure with KPMG, Ms. Hamilton provided audit and account management services to insurance and business service organizations.
Following KPMG, Ms. Hamilton joined Nationwide where she held multiple roles including Vice President of Finance and Pricing at GatesMcDonald, a Nationwide affiliate, Vice President-Corporate Controller, Senior Vice President of Property and Casualty Finance, and Chief Auditor.
Kelly is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Ohio State University. Kelly is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a Board Member and the Treasurer of the American Lung Association of the Midland States.
