First COBIT 5 Launch Seminar to be held in April in the UK
/EINPresswire.com/ IT Governance Ltd2, the leading expert in IT governance and information security training, has reported that the first COBIT 5 Update Day1 will take place on 13th April in London, just three days after the release of COBIT 5 on 10th April. The COBIT 5 Update Day is truly the first opportunity for a formal review session of the latest edition of ISACA's globally accepted framework: www.itgovernance.co.uk/products/3754.
The COBIT 5 Update Day is also the first event to be held in the UK and is a 'must attend' for IT Service Managers, IT Consultants, IT Auditors, Governance, Risk and Compliance Managers and Business Managers who have an understanding of COBIT 4.1. Places can be booked immediately here: www.itgovernance.co.uk/products/3754.
COBIT 4.1 was released in 2007 and has become one of the internationally accepted best practice frameworks for IT governance and control in successful organisations. While providing a useful guide for the management of operational IT practices, it has long been criticised for not providing the basis for true IT governance. COBIT 5 addresses this issue by adopting the Evaluate, Direct and Monitor model of ISO38500 (the international IT governance standard) to differentiate clearly between governance processes and management processes.
The new COBIT 5 framework is a major strategic improvement, providing the next generation of ISACA guidance on the governance and management of enterprise information and technology (IT) assets.
By attending the COBIT 5 Update Day delegates will learn about:
1. The key concepts and benefits of COBIT 5
2. The differences between COBIT 4.1 and COBIT 5
3. How to plan the migration from COBIT 4.1 to 5
4. The resources required for implementation.
The COBIT5 Update Day is delivered by an experienced ISACA-licensed trainer who has participated in the ISACA team developing the syllabus for the original online COBIT Foundation course launched in 2005.
Bookings onto the course can be made online here: www.itgovernance.co.uk/products/3754 . Course places can also be booked directly with the friendly, helpful IT Governance service centre team on telephone number +44 (0)845 070 1750. Larger organisations can make bookings or purchases with a purchase order, either by telephone or by e-mail, to servicecentre@itgovernance.co.uk. We also welcome overseas delegates on all our courses and can provide guidance on travel and hotel arrangements.
