Los Angeles County Court Offers Buyouts in Response to Budget Cuts
(Subscription required) Full-time court employees with at least five years of continuous service will be eligible for a $35,000 payment to resign by Oct 1. The court expects to eliminate up to 130 positions through a combination of buyouts and eliminating vacancies, the court’s communications office said in a statement.
