MEDIA ADVISORY: Electrical issue affecting Missouri Judiciary systems
1 July 2024
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – An electrical failure Saturday, June 29 at one of the Missouri judiciary’s data centers damaged computer equipment. As a result, various systems across the state – including Case.net and e-filing – may be unavailable or have limited functionality. Although the cause of the failure remains under investigation at this time, there is no reason to believe this was the result of any suspicious activity.
Information technology staff from the Supreme Court of Missouri’s state courts administrator’s office (OSCA) have been working to restore access to the case management systems and other impacted systems. Most functionality is expected to be operational within a few days.
Courts will remain open and should be working to continue essential functions. Any local court-specific notices provided to OSCA or the Court will be posted to the Notices page online.
