Microsoft partners with K2 to redefine enterprise content management
Bellevue, Nov. 27, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- K2, the leader in digital process automation, today announced that it has been named a charter partner in the new Microsoft Content Services Partner Program. This program highlights the partners who extend the Microsoft Content Services platform, an end-to-end set of software and services that connect entire workplaces and enable intelligent content management.

With an extensive partnership history focused around helping customers get the most out of their technologies, Microsoft chose K2 as one of the first charter partners of this new program. K2 helps thousands of organizations around the world realize the value of Microsoft more rapidly by integrating low-code workflow automation with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint solutions.
The Microsoft Content Services Partner Program serves modern customers ranging from highly document-centric industries to critical compliance-focused scenarios within collaborative enterprises. With more organizations realizing their content systems aren’t adequately equipped to handle their existing needs, up to 90 percent of organizations are expected to move from on-premise enterprise content management (ECM) to cloud-based content services systems over the next two years*.
“K2 has been an instrumental partner in equipping customers to automate workflows using a low-code platform within Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint,” said Chris McNulty, Senior Product Manager at Microsoft.
An example of a customer taking advantage of this partnership is Shoosmiths. Shoosmiths, a leading law practice in the UK, was able to replace thirteen legacy workflow technologies with a single platform based on K2 and Microsoft SharePoint. “The flexibility of K2 simplifies the workflow development process, making it possible for the IT team to deliver new workflows across all areas of the business very quickly. The benefit of having a single workflow platform integrated with SharePoint is compelling,” said Shane Scott, IS Director at Shoosmiths. Thanks to K2 and SharePoint, Shoosmiths was able to speed up its processes, deliver prompter services for its customers and significantly reduce its annual operating expenditure by about £160,000 a year.
K2 has become one of the largest providers of services for Microsoft SharePoint, with a digital process automation platform that makes it possible to deliver integrated, mission-critical process automation at scale.
“We’re excited to be named a charter member of the Microsoft Content Services Partner Program,” said Eyal Inbar, Vice President of Technology Alliances at K2. “This recognition represents K2 and Microsoft’s joint commitment to help customers achieve a complete digital transformation of their enterprise content management. Ultimately, this makes it easier than ever for users to streamline their work and enable compliance with privacy regulations.”
