Four Russian cities to enjoy major car show

Late July— early August 2014 will see the Gazprom Neft retail network’s G-Drive Show hitting the cities ofChelyabinsk, Ekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Novosibirsk. The G-Drive Shows are major city-specific car shows, atwhich famous Russian and international racers demonstrate both their driving skills and the full potential oftoday’s sports cars.

The main event ofthe G-Drive Show isthe driving demonstration byracing star Roman Rusinov, bronze medallist inthe 2013 FIA WEC Endurance Championship. This Russian racer will beappearing inthe same car inwhich the G-Drive Racing team have already enjoyed such awinning streak this season. The programme also includes ‘extreme motorsports’ and ‘drifting’ displays, anacrobatic show, and much more. Inaddition tothis, residents and guests inthe four Russian cities above will have the opportunity tosee the legendary, current Formula 1world champions Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s own car piloted bythe youthful Carlos Sainz Jr.

The shows will also include the preliminary rounds of reality show Racers, tobebroadcast onthe Pyatnitsa (Friday) TVchannel. Finalists, tobeselected through aprocess ofelimination over aseries ofgo-karting trails, are likely tobecome the heroes ofthis TVproject. The ultimate champion will have the opportunity totake part inaqualifying round ofone ofthe most popular racing series, the VLN Endurance Championship, Nürburgring.
