New WindMade Product Label Identifies Products Produced With Wind Power

WindMade has launched a product label which identifies products made with wind energy. A product qualifies for the WindMade label if is made with a minimum of 75% renewable electricity and the largest portion of that renewable electricity is generated by wind. When evaluating products for the label, WindMade accounts for all power used to create a product, from raw material extraction to manufacturing. The new product label joins WindMade's existing label for companies and organizations which allows users to communicate the share of wind power and other renewable resources within their electricity consumption.
