Myositis Support and Understanding Association (MSU) is an all-volunteer, patient-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of and empowering those impacted by myositis through education, support, awareness, advocacy, financial assistance, and access to research and clinical trial matching. MSU is building strategic relationships with other nonprofit organizations, for-profit companies, and pharmaceutical companies to help promote treatment innovation and research with our collective eyes on targeted therapies for the various types of myositis, and eventually a cure. MSU was founded by Myositis patients, for Myositis patients and caregivers, and operates with an all-volunteer team, with the support of donations by members, friends, and supporters, and our generous sponsors.
