SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:

On the above date and time, Vermont State Police initiated a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation on Rt.107 in the Town of Bethel, Vermont. Troopers identified the operator of the vehicle as Tyler Garrant (30). While speaking with Garrant, Troopers observed several signs of impairment. During the investigation, it was discovered that Garrant provided alcohol to a minor who was in the vehicle. 

Garrant was placed under arrest and transported to the Vermont State Police – Royalton Barracks for processing. He was held at the Southern State Correctional Facility on an INCAP and given a citation to appear in court on 04/09/2024 at 0800 hours.
