March 17, 2010 (FinancialWire) — New York Mortgage Trust, Inc. (NASDAQ: NYMT) said that its board of directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.25 per share on shares of its common stock for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. The dividend is payable on April 26, 2010 to common stockholders of record as of April 1, 2010.

In addition, the board declared a dividend of $0.625 per share on shares of its series A preferred stock for the 2010 first quarter in accordance with the terms of the series A preferred stock. The dividend will be payable on April 30, 2010 to stockholders of record on March 31, 2010.
