December 3, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Nucor Corp.’s (NYSE: NUE) board has increased the company’s regular quarterly cash dividend on Nucor’s common stock by 2.9% to $0.36 per share from $0.35 per share. This cash dividend is payable on February 11, 2010 to stockholders of record on December 31, 2009, and is Nucor’s 147th consecutive quarterly cash dividend.

The company said it has increased its regular, or base, dividend for 37 consecutive years — every year since it first began paying dividends in 1973.
