Tricastmedia Launches Cutting Edge User Interface and Mobile Email Technologies at JavaOne 2007
GLASGOW, Scotland--Tricastmedia, a leading provider of mobile messaging and UI technologies will present new versions of its mobile java software solutions at JavaOne in San Francisco, 8th - 11th May, 2007 at Booth No. 1218. Tricastmedia will launch version 1.5 of its revolutionary UI platform "TWUIK(TM)" for mobile and consumer electronic devices. They will also reveal version 2.0 of its acclaimed mobile email software Tricast Mail(TM).
TWUIK(TM) is a powerful cross-platform software technology for creating light-weight, rich applications and content for virtually any device and network using J2ME MIDP. The technology provides a cutting edge platform to developers, OEM's, ISV's, and content providers to create powerful user experiences for mobile phones and consumer electronic devices.
"With TWUIK, you can develop visually compelling mobile application once and then deploy to multiple devices and operating systems, in a fraction of the time needed with other technologies," noted Dr Ihsan Riaz, CEO Tricastmedia. "TWUIK is already recognized as the leader in bringing rich-media graphics and advanced UI technology to mobile phones, and by adding J2ME and DoCoMo Java support to our solution we are continuing to expand our competitive lead. Our customers are delighted; never before have they had the opportunity to bring such impressive graphics and mobile interactivity to their Java devices."
This new evolution of the TWUIK platform comes on the heels of intense commercial activity for the company. Over the past few months, despite the fact that the product was still in BETA development, Tricastmedia has signed numerous deals establishing TWUIK as the go-to platform for the development of rich-media applications on mobile phones and digital consumer devices.
Leading operators use TWUIK to create rich-media applications across an ever wider range of supported devices including Symbian Series 60, Symbian UIQ, Windows Mobile 2005, Linux, DoCoMo Java and JavaME. OEMs and content providers also rely on TWUIK to make their products easier to use, enrich service offerings, maximizes expressiveness and creates a customized, branded user experience that is uniform across all devices, resulting in increased adoption.
