This Reception forms part of Global Pacific & Partners’ international network of industry events held in London, Houston, Calgary, Singapore, Paris, Geneva and Cape Town. The Vice Mayor of The Hague, Ingrid van Engelshoven, will welcome attendees to the World Trade Centre as the City of The Hague seeks to further its influence in the oil and gas sector both in The Netherlands and abroad. The Reception will act to connect senior-level corporate players and facilitate critical industry interests by providing a unique networking forum with peers and players within the worldwide oil and gas industry across the value chain. Guest speaker for the evening is Mr. Andrew Cochran, Chairman of Hague and London Oil ("HALO") Plc, an international oil and gas company recently established in The Hague. Andrew Cochran was the Executive Director of Coastal Energy Corp until March 2014, when it was sold to Cepsa in a $2.5B transaction. Prior to that he was Chief Executive Officer of Dominion Petroleum Limited following his appointment on 3 November 2009 until its successful sale to Ophir Energy Plc in February 2012. Hague and London Oil opened its office in The Hague in 2014 and is a robust independent upstream business with a global portfolio of assets. The Current portfolio is comprised of assets in Southeast Asia (Philippines), South America (Guyane), Europe (UK North Sea), East Africa (Juan de Nova) and Northwest Africa (SADR).
