Leonard was instrumental in the release of the original version of Lotto in 1994 along with television and radio personality Gavin Wood. The current version of Lotto is innovative because it uses an optional interactive voice response and QR barcode for gameplay through either a tablet or mobile phone. The game commences at the Lotto Shop. Players then move around the board in a clockwise direction landing on squares with different instructions and lottery numbers. In order to win the game players must purchase, barter or win all six Fantasy Cards. These Fantasy Cards feature brilliant illustrations of the most popular fantasies of wealth and luxury. To achieve this goal players must mark off the six numbers they have circled on their entry coupon. No player may purchase any Fantasy Cards until they have marked off their first six numbers on that entry coupon. When a player has marked off all of their six numbers they can go back to the Lotto shop to collect one million dollars. Winning numbers are collected from the back of Millionaire Club Cards. A player can draw a Millionaire Club Card either from the board or by using its interactive voice response technology. The IVR element is called Piggybank. Through Piggybank the game can communicate with gamers by either call or text and the system is audible for all players. Piggybank is programmed with Millionaire Club Card game instructions which are selected at random. Both the physical cards and the Piggybank instructions offer the potential for cash winnings or penalties which strip gamers of their wealth.
