SMITHTOWN, NY, UNITED STATES, March 29, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Three accomplished Long Island creatives will share a story in the Sunday April 26, 2015 performance of (mostly) TRUE THINGS, which features true stories - with a twist - told live, without notes. Popular Long Island comic, writer and speaker Stevie GB, entrepeneur and inventor Aaron Foss, and artist/poet/actor Charlie Pellegrino will be in the line-up of this unique show in which all the stories except one are told with some details changed or carefully-crafted deceptions woven into them. The whole truth about each of the stories comes out by the end of the show, with the help of the audience.
Screenwriter and teacher Robert McKee identifies storytelling as "the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today." Storytelling shows are increasingly popular entertainment and have the added benefit of featuring real-life adventures of local people from all walks of life. Combined with dinner at one of the many restaurants within walking distance from the theater, this is an event that builds community and boosts business.

Stevie GB is a regular on the Long Island Comedy Festival and award winning comedian, Stevie has performed at The Borgata, Catch a Rising Star, The Paramount, and countless other venues. He's performed with comedy legends like Louie Anderson, Kevin Meaney, Rob Schneider, Kevin Pollak, Bobby Collins and others. His performances range from squeaky clean to risque and focuses on the typical suburban life.

Charlie Pellegrino is an Outsider artist, poet, actor and all around bohemian bon vivant. He works as a union Steamfitter in Local 638. He is raising two awesome sons and is always up for a road trip.

Aaron Foss is a serial entrepeneur, inventor, software developer whose company Nomorobo was listed in New York Newsday's list of Long Island's hottest start-ups -- and co-founder and lead developer of SmartChemo. He is also a Toastmaster.

Host and the show's creator Jude Treder-Wolff is a writer/performer and singer/songwriter who co-wrote songs that set up the game in (mostly) TRUE THINGS with musical director Wells Hanley. Her solo storytelling show with original songs "Crazytown: my first psychopath" was selected for the 2013 Midtown International Theater Festival, the 2012 Chicago and San Francisco Fringe Festivals and was performed at Actors Theatre Workshop, Broadway Comedy Club and The Pit-The Peoples Improv in New York, at the Charles B. Wang Center at Stonybrook University on Long Island and The Conservatory NJ in Trenton, NJ.
