This film will be a six hour miniseries that will be made without any major studio contribution and scheduled to move into preproduction in the second quarter of 2015. There has not been a tribute to Harriet Tubman since the film “A Woman Called Moses” starring Cicely Tyson. This tribute was in 1978 and many people who have grown up since then have no clue as to her historical significance.
